Unravel the mystery of Bhutan with our 6D/5N Majestic Bhutan Tour Package. Perched among the peaks of the Himalayas, the tiny kingdom of Bhutan has been described as "The Last Shangrila." Besides the stunning natural scenery, the enduring image of the country for most visitors is the strong sense of culture and tradition that binds the kingdom and clearly distinguishes it from its larger neighbours. Bhutan is the only Vajrayana Buddhist nation in the world, and the profound teachings of this tradition remain well preserved and exert a strong influence on all aspects of life. It has developed the philosophy of Gross National Happiness; where development is measured using a holistic approach of well-being, not just based on gross domestic product. In Bhutan, people come to visit the remote monasteries and spiritual temples, to trek the wondrous Himalaya and admire the mountainous pastures.

Our extraordinary travel adventure begins in Thimphu, the capital of the Kingdom of Bhutan and the nation's largest city. We will visit the Trashi Chhoe Dzong, an impressive fortress built in the 18th century,  which houses the national government and the central monastic body.

Spend two nights in the beautiful alpine valley of Paro, a historic town with many sacred sites and historical buildings scattered through the area. The Paro Valley is wide and verdant and is recognized as one of the most beautiful in all Bhutan. Not to be missed is a visit to the Taktsang Monastery. Precariously perched on the edge of a 1,200 meter cliff, this monastery creates an impressive sight and is the unofficial symbol of Bhutan.

Take a 6D/5N Tour of Majestic Bhutan, which offers a fascinating insight into the Buddhist culture where time has stood still and you will have the unique opportunity to experience Himalayan landscapes of astounding, untouched beauty.
