    • Enjoy a panoramic view of Berlin atop the Reichstag's Dome.
    • Czech's love beer. They call it their "liquid bread"  and generally, it is cheaper than bottled water. Make sure to have a taste of their terrific brew when in Prague.
    • Take a stroll along Innere Stadt (First District) in Vienna where the vast majority of all sightseeing attractions are located.
    • Budapest is well known for their thermal baths. After miles of sightseeing, soothe those tired muscles in one of the thermal baths found in the city.
    • Fryderyk Chopin is Poland's greatest composer and Warsaw's favorite son. Take the optional tour to the interactive Fryderyk Chopin Museum in Warsaw which makes good use of modern technology and learn more about the life and music of one of the greatest pianists of all time.
    • Legend has it that the icon of Our Lady of Czestochowa in Poland was painted by St. Luke, the Evangelist, on a cedar table top of the house of the Holy Family.

    Day 01:  Arrive Vienna, Saturday (D)
    You will be transferred to your hotel. Then your time is free to relax or begin exploring. Later, meet your fellow travelers and your Tour Director for a Welcome Dinner.

    Day 02:  In Vienna, Sunday (B)
    On a morning sightseeing tour, visit the Hofburg Palace, once the home of the Habsberg emperors, and view the Belvedere Palace, Prater Amusement Park, the UN Buildings, St. Stephen's Cathedral and other reminders of the city's imperial past. The afternoon is at leisure to discover more of Vienna at your own pace.

    Day 03:   Budapest, Monday (B, D)
    Journey east and cross the border into Hungary. Continue through the Transdanubian region, reaching Budapest with time to freshen up before dinner.

    Day 04:   Budapest, Tuesday (B)
    In 1873, the twin cities of Buda and Pest joined with ancient Obuda to form a new, unified city, Budapest. Charming and beautiful, the city was declared a World Heritage site in 1987. Your morning sightseeing tour includes views of all the main attractions: the Parliament, Royal Palace and the Castle Hill area, Fisherman's Bastion, Matthias Church, Heroes' Square, and Gellert Hill with its Citadel. The rest of the day is at leisure to explore this exciting city on your own.

    Day 05:   Krakow, Wednesday (B, D)
    The road to Krakow winds through the hills and countryside of Slovakia, past the Tatras Mountains, and into the rolling plains of Poland. You’ll arrive in time for a relaxing dinner.

    Day 06:   Krakow, Thursday (B)
    A morning sightseeing tour starts with a visit to Wawel Hill, viewing the Royal Castle and visiting the Royal Cathedral. Next, take a walking tour of the Old Town where you will see the Main Market Square and Renaissance Cloth Hall, and visit St. Mary's Church. The afternoon is free to go for a stroll, browse through the shops, sample some sernik or szarlotka, or simply relax.

    Day 07:   Warsaw, Friday (B, D)
    This morning join a tour of Auschwitz-Birkenau, the notorious concentration camp from World War II and a UNESCO World Heritage site. Later, journey to Czestochowa and visit the Yasna Gora Monastery, known for the blackened picture of the Virgin Mary, popularly called the "Black Madonna." In the late afternoon, arrive in Poland's capital city, Warsaw.

    Day 08:   Warsaw, Saturday (B)
    The 700 years old capital is a symbol of the Polish nationhood and the will to survive against great odds. A sightseeing tour here includes a drive along the famous Royal Route from the magnificent Castle Square to Lazienki Park and Palace, the summer residence of the last king of Poland. Pass by the Palace of Science and Culture (known as the “wedding cake”), the Saxon Gardens, the Tomb of the Unknown Soldier, the Monument to the Heroes of the Warsaw Ghetto and the Barbican. Continue with the walking tour of the Old Town, the Old Market Square and St. John’s Cathedral. The rest of the day is free for relaxing, shopping, a stroll through the city or an optional late afternoon Chopin concert.

    Day 09:   Berlin, Sunday (B, D)
    Stop in Poznan for an orientation tour, and then continue to Berlin, today’s final destination.

    Day 10:   Berlin, Monday (B)
    Your morning sightseeing tour features the Reichstag, the Renaissance building that once housed Germany’s Parliament, and the lovely Schloss Charlottenburg. The tour continues through the city to view famous sights such as the Opera, the Schiller Theater and the Kaiser Wilhelm Memorial Church. The afternoon is free to explore this once divided city on your own.

    Day 11:   Prague, Tuesday (B, D)
    After breakfast, continue your journey via Dresden, the beautiful Saxony Baroque city. Stop for an orientation tour, viewing Zwinger Palace and Semper Opera House. Then, on to Prague, the capital of Czech Republic.

    Day 12:   Prague, Wednesday (B)
    Built on seven hills more than 1000 years ago, Prague today is a wonder to behold, with beautiful architecture, lush green hills, and graceful bridges spanning the Vltava River. A sightseeing tour starts with panoramic drive past famous Wenceslas Square, the Strahov Stadium and Castle Square.
    Then, on a walking tour, visit the Royal Castle of Hradcany with the Cathedral of St. Vitus, the Old  Royal Palace, St. George's Basilica and Golden Lane with the Daliborka Tower. Cross the Charles Bridge and walk through the old quarter of Prague to view the Jewish Ghetto, Town Hall and the worldfamous Astronomical Clock. The rest of the day is free to explore at your own pace. You might want to attend an optional cultural performance.

    Day 13:   Prague, Thursday (B)
    After breakfast, you will be transferred to the airport for your departure flight.

Things to do

    • CLIMB. Climb the 343 steps to the tower-keeper's room of St. Stephen's Cathedral in Vienna and be captivated by the breathtaking view.
    • GOTHIC. St. Vitus Cathedral, one of the most beautiful Gothic cathedrals in Europe, is named as the spiritual heart of the Prague Castle and the Czech Republic itself.
    • RUB. Charles Bridge in Prague has 30 statues that adorn the bridge. The first and most popular of them is the statue of St. John Nepomuk. Legend has it that if you rub his feet, you will return to Prague while others claim it will bring you happiness.
    • WALK. Make sure to wear your most comfortable shoes because walking is the best way to experience Budapest.
    • REMEMBER. Say a prayer for the people that had to endure the brutal atrocities at the concentration camps of Auschwitz - Birkenau.
    • EAT. Enjoy a cup of coffee at one of Vienna's Kaffeehauser (coffee houses), the best place to relax and enjoy the good things in life. While you're at it, pair it with a slice of Apfelstrudel (apple strudel). Just heavenly!
    • DROP BY MOZART’S. Visit Mozart’s only Viennese abode which reopened as a museum on his 250th birthday. Known locally as the Figarohaus where he wrote The Marriage of Figaro, the museum offers a thorough documentation of Mozart’s happiest years in Vienna.
